Neuro refers to the nerves, and muscular refers to the skeletal muscles. This therapy is intended to release the muscle fibers to relieve the trapped or pinched nerve within that muscle. It may feel uncomfortable at times as some muscle tissue is tough and/or dense. But after the release of muscle tissue or “knots” the nerve pinched sensation should alleviate pain.
